    Jonathan R. Alger, AU’s 16th president, arrived on campus this summer. President Alger, who comes to Å·ÃÀÐÔ°®from James Madison University where he served as president for 12 years, is an experienced and visionary higher education leader. The Å·ÃÀÐÔ°®community is excited to welcome him as we begin the next chapter of AU’s remarkable history.
